Platform · Print ProofReader

Every word on your packaging, checked against every rule

Upload a carton, label or leaflet as a print-ready PDF or even a photo. Print ProofReader scans it with OCR and checks each element against the agency-approved product information and the labelling requirements of the markets you sell in. Deviations come back in minutes, while they're still cheap to fix.

The problem

A medicine's packaging is regulated down to the word

The carton, label and leaflet must carry the approved product information exactly, follow the QRD template, and meet each market's national requirements (Braille, the blue box, mandatory statements) in every language and strength you sell. Checking that by hand means hours of side-by-side reading per pack, and a missed deviation can mean rejected mock-ups, reprinted batches, a recall or a finding at inspection. Every new market multiplies the work.

How Print ProofReader works

From uploaded packaging to a verified proof in minutes

1

Upload the packaging

Drop in the print-ready PDF from your design agency, an image export, or a photo of the physical pack. Print ProofReader takes the file as it comes, with no special preparation.

2

OCR reads every word

Print ProofReader extracts all text on the pack, including side panels, rotated text and small print, and maps each element to its place on the packaging.

3

Checked market by market

Pick the countries the product ships to. Every element is verified against the approved product information and each market's labelling rules, and every deviation comes back as a located, reviewable finding.

What Print ProofReader checks

The approved text, the template, and each market's own rules

Approved product information

Every line on the pack against the agency-approved text: changed wording, typos, missing or extra content, wrong strength or dosing.

National requirements

The particulars each market demands: mandatory statements, Braille, blue-box content, local codes and classification wording.

QRD structure

Section order, mandatory headings and required elements validated against the current QRD template, which we keep up to date for you.

Every component & language

One check across cartons, labels, PIL and SmPC, run in each language you sell in, so no translation drifts from the approved text.

Jurisdictions

Checked against the rules of the markets you select

Print ProofReader maintains the labelling requirements of each jurisdiction, so the same pack can be verified for every market it ships to in a single run.

Where it's going

From packaging checks to your complete labelling hub

Print ProofReader is step one. We're building Labelling into the single place where teams manage approved text, ePI and market-ready design.

On the roadmap

ePI transition hub

Author and convert product information to the EU FHIR-based ePI standard, manage versions, and stay ready as ePI becomes mandatory.

On the roadmap

Country-specific design

Lay out and validate packaging to each market's national requirements automatically: formatting, Braille, the blue box and local rules.

On the roadmap

End-to-end labelling lifecycle

Connect approved text, mockups, ePI and design in one place, with change tracking across every strength, language and market.

Why Regunaut

The QRD and country rules are maintained for you

Built-in expertise

QRD templates and per-market labelling rules are kept current, so the check reflects what agencies expect today.

Works on the real packaging

OCR checks what the printer will actually print, rather than a text export that can drift from the final files.

One hub, end to end

Packaging checks today, ePI and design next, all in the same place instead of a stack of disconnected tools and manual reviews.

Labelling work that used to need a department — run by a team of a few.

Get the packaging right before it prints
